WHITE CLOUD SANCTUARY
In 1972
a group of seven people moved to a remote environment of Costa Rica
with the aim of living in Consciousness
and together reach a higher level of being, outside
of their personal self. And so, the White Cloud Sanctuary, Center for the Conscious Development of Man, was born.

Welcome to White Cloud Sanctuary, a non profit Hermitage Retreat and Study Center dedicated
to Higher Consciousness development and collective Enlightenment.
Founded in 1972, the center is under the spiritual direction of Gailon, whose teachings comes
from different schools of thought (Daoist and Gurdjieffian in essence), his own experience and vision.
The Sanctuary, home today to 3 members, is accepting new students.
You can choose to experience a One-on-One Personal Intensive Retreat or apply for a long term stay (90-days
trial) and eventually become a permanent member.
White Cloud is not an ashram or public temple, rules are
stricter and it is not open to all, but we invite you to consider to join us if you've had enough with ordinary
life and are ready to withdraw from the "world" as you know it, feel the calling to Self transformation and understand the need to work with others on the same path.

White Cloud is dedicated to research and education
to advance understanding of the nature and potentials of consciousness. The purpose of this project is to establish an open
environment for investigating consciousness in which long-term retreatants can probe the inner world of the mind withouth
the worry of visa's, food or noise.
The more support we receive, the more people we can benefit, and there
are many ways in which you can help implement these aims: (1) You could help us financially by donating to the cause; (2)
you may help with various tasks needed to help achieve our aims; and (3) simply telling as many people about us
as possible as word-of-mouth is a powerful tool indeed.
I came to The White Cloud after a series of breakthroughs in meditation.
After 33 years of practice I finally had found the level of connection & alignment to Source which I knew to be true if
only a beginning still!My teachers were presenting me with a challenge to begin to teach some of what I had learned yet most times when
I got up from meditating – I left the experience – couldn’t stay with it, got caught up in externals and
tripped up- finding myself flat on my face- frequently literally and figuratively- and this didn’t bide well for me
as a teacher! I knew I needed training in staying connected as
I moved through my waking hours, I hoped Tai Chi or ChiGong would helped me. Meeting
Gailon and the staff here was such a wonderful surprise- to find that above all- he could hold that Space- in Essence, Source,
1st Cause (whatever you might call it- it was the place I had spent so many years trying to reach- but couldn’t
hold). And in that Space he would open his eyes, connect, move, communicate, and with some assistance I could join him there. I have met several in this life who were called Master and read the works &
stories of many Masters, yet in 33 years or so, since first learning to meditate and see light, I have never met a Master
Teacher, in a body, who could sit in that light and teach. Gailon is one of these, and we are lucky to have him here with
us, his teachings are delivered from Essence with real Intelligence, Richness and integrity. I am grateful and hope to return
