Teachers
GAILON Gailon is the spiritual guide and main teacher of White Cloud Sanctuary. His quest for understanding started almost 40 years ago, when he and a group of 6 others moved
to a remote jungle beach in the south pacific coast of Costa Rica with the intention of achieving consciousness
together, seeking the truth to man's existence on Earth, and exploring the outer reaches of human potential. For those
first ten years, Gailon's life became an intense immersion in an energetic restructuring process that cut
through the many levels of his ego personality to his center - the Witnessing Self. As a result of his inner work,
Gailon is now able to facilitate this spiritual transformation for others who desire to awaken to the Essential Self.

YOLANDA
A Costa Rica native, Yolanda
has asked herself for many years the question: What is the meaning of life? Feeling a sense of emptyness in her relationships with family and friends, she continued playing out her role
with little enthusiasm, feeling disassociated to a great extent
from all that was going on in her daily life. The
thought that there must be something more profound to existence kindled within her being.14 years ago, Yolanda's questioning mind led her to the information and work of Gailon. This encounter engaged in her an active pursuit for a deeper understanding of life.
She began by attending Gailon's meditation sessions
which strenghtened her connection to her Witnessing Self. By reading the teachings of G.I Gurdjieff and Krishnamurti,
her objective mind grasped a deeper comprehension of what a self is. After several years of working with meditation, practicing of
self-observation and studying information concerning the human condition, she became part of the disciplinary life-style offered
at White Cloud Sanctuary. As a staff member she helps extensively with
the managment of White Cloud, and also teaches Tai Chi.

Dear Gailon, wanted to thank you for the
time we spent last Friday. Our encounter had a powerful effect on me. Specifically,
it brought me out of my head and into my immediate experience. When you pointed out that something I was
saying was something that someone else had said, I recognized the truth in that and I felt somewhat disarmed, somewhat naked,
somewhat lost of my moorings. I came to recognize the extent to which I rely upon conceptual frameworks
for an understanding of reality. While I have used these, I know, to help direct me to my own experience,
I also rely on them as a crutch at times, keeping me over “there” rather than here. I thank
you for making this insight so vivid for me, and helping me to expand my consciousness at least for the time being. I have studied with Tibetan lamas since 1991. Their style of teaching is quite
different from yours. They tend to meet me where I am and gently nudge me in a different direction.
Your style strikes me as one of speaking from a higher level of consciousness and challenging me to rise to it.
I offer this comparison for no reason other than its own sake, so you know. I find them both effective..."
